What is Happew?

Happew’s concept

Happew is a mobile app that lets creators publish content in an original format: grids of unlockable content. We call these grids games.

On Happew, your fans unlock your content through a random draw: each time they play, a piece of content is drawn from the grid and, if it hasn’t already been won by the player, it becomes visible.

Unlike traditional social networks, Happew doesn’t work with a global feed or automatic recommendations. When a fan visits your profile, they only see your content.

Happew is free, for creators and for fans.

Games: the core of how it works

On Happew, a creator can build several games. Each game is a grid made of tiles, each containing unlockable content.

Each tile can include one or more media items, arranged freely:

• Texts
• Images and photos
• Videos

Content can be chained to form a true narrative thread. You choose the order, structure, and pace.

Games appear on your profile and make up your personal space. Each game can be illustrated with a title and a cover image. You can create games with 1 to 15 pieces of unlockable content.

Within a game, each content item has a chance to be won on each play. You can adjust these chances to increase the rarity of one or more items.

How fans unlock content

To unlock a piece of content, a fan must play your game.

To play, the user watches a short video ad. In exchange, they receive a batch of Happew tokens (usually between 3 and 10). Each token lets them start one play.

On each play, a tile is drawn at random. If the content hasn’t already been won by the player, it becomes visible. This system makes the experience interactive and engaging, without interrupting the content.

Fans don’t need to create an account or log in. They just need to download the app to access your games anonymously.

Monetization on Happew

Monetization is immediate, from sign-up, with no audience-size condition and no minimum threshold.

Every time a fan watches an ad to get tokens and play your games, you get paid.

Average earnings are between 2 $ and 8 $ per 1 000 ad impressions, depending on period and market.

Unlike traditional platforms:

• Ads don’t interrupt the content
• The viewing moment is chosen by the user
• Each ad directly benefits a creator

A space with no algorithm or forced competition

Happew includes:

• No automatic recommendations
• No suggested profiles

When a fan comes for you, they only see you. Once redirected to your profile, the platform doesn’t divert their attention to another creator.

However, you can recommend other creators yourself if you want.

All formats are supported

Happew puts all formats on an equal footing. You don’t have to produce only short videos or follow a dominant trend.

You can publish:

• Long texts
• Raw images
• Photos
• Videos of any format

This freedom lets you create more simply, faster, and more authentically.

Scheduling, notifications, and control

Happew gives you full control over your games:

• Scheduling a publication
• Scheduling a game’s opening and closing
• A countdown visible to fans when scheduled
• Notifications sent to 100 % on publications, openings, or closings

An open game is visible and playable. A closed game is visible but not playable. Opening and closing let you create time-limited games, or publish a game before it opens.

You can also archive your games so they no longer appear on your profile. Fans can enable notifications for your profile so they never miss a publication.
